My Dad’s dog died last year’s St. Patricks day. He is still depressed about it. I try to convence him to get a dog by reading Dogfancy, talking about how responsible I am, talking about my favorite breeds, etc. He said he will only get a dog when we move. We are renting a house right now. Also, please add some dog names that start with a B.

your dad is worried that you may have a feeling of sadness in your heart when your dog dies if you get one , he is probably sad of going through losing a friend and a part of his heart , do not push him , steadily and patently convince him the joys of having a dog , how you’d love to have the excperience of owning one , he’ll come to the fact that you make sense and that you do deserve a dog ! you’ll see it’ll work , trust me i had the same problem with my dad when i wanted to get a dog ! You could start by not pushing him to get one. He is grieving over his lost dog and needs time. Some people take more time than others to get over a loss.
If he says that he will get a dog when you move then there ya go. Just wait until you move, but don’t be getting on his nerves about it.
you cant push too hard because that will almost make them say no more…just show him your responsible but talk about getting a dog very often … I tried that and it didnt work so yeaa some names I can think off the top of my head are
