I once had a Doxie
Named Roxie
Everyone said she was Foxy
She howled at the moon
It was kept quite in tune
My beautiful Foxy Doxie
Named Roxie
I have a small Chi
She scratched at a flea
I said just don’t do it
She wouldn’t poo-poo it
My little Chi
With a flea
My Beagle’s name was Sam
He was quite a ham
When people came over
He howled like Rover
My happy howling
Sam the Man
An Afgan is Royal and Regal
They look nothing like my old Beagle
Their coat long and flowing
The highlights were glowing
Like lights on the river Siam
dachshund:
theres a hairy hot dog in my bread!
how it got there remains unsaid
it has a nose, four paws, and two eyes
its puppy-like bark, makes me wanna die
theres a hairy hotdog in my bun
oh wait its just a small dachshund!
beagle:
whats that noise?
it sounds like an alarm!
whats that thing
tuggin on your arm?
beagles dont bark
they simply howl
which doesnt help
when on the prowl!
chihuahua:
bat-like ears
and bug-like eyes
this dogs bark
makes me wanna cry
its so small
its like a rat
with a funky eared hat!
english setter:
used for hunting
used for tracking
always working
never slacking
english setters, bred to please
endlish setters, trained with ease.
afghan hound:
tall like a horse
yet hairy like a mammoth
slender like a deer
yet agile like a rabbit
whats this creature?
you may ask
its an afghan hound
and its built to last.
i hope they work…

hi I’m a beagle they use me to hunt
sometimes its hard for me because i am the runt
but heres the thing, i try hard you see
because i am who i am and i believe in me. =)

because my owner dresses me in a black &white suit
i feel so ashamed that i am dressed up this way
because i am a dog and i want to jump about &play
not be in this dog bag and taken to malls
i want to be in the back yard chassing after balls
i guess its not so bad, i mean i am with you
you love me you feed me and i love you too.
